The sixth issue of Toxic Weeds explores two contrasting subcultures: GASH, a neo-Nazi gay group from Russia, and a homeless community in Bucharest’s underground tunnels. While both adopt punk aesthetics, GASH promotes discrimination, whereas the Bucharest community’s leader, Bruce Lee, fosters inclusivity. This contrast raises a key question: beyond its rebellious image, what does punk truly represent today?
