This booklet is based on the first edition of Marijuana and the Bible, written around 1985 by Jeff Brown of the Ethiopian Zion Coptic Church. Originating in Jamaica and incorporated in Florida in 1975, the church shares many beliefs with Rastafarianism, including the sacramental use of marijuana. This book explores cannabis's significance in religion, culture, and politics through ancient Eastern and Western texts.
